FIRE TONGS; brass handle, ball grip with center ring with octagonal indentations above, turned brass stem with octagonal lower section; iron body; body consists of one stationary and one movable stem; both have bamboo turnings and are identical stems, are connected by an oval joint decorated with a flower motif on each side; the two stems curve out in a C-curve, below the connecting joint and are tapered along the length of the stem. The stems terminate in flat oval discs.Provenance
