Postcard containing a color photograph of the neon sign for the Trolley Car Diner, 7619 Germantown Avenue, taken by Len Davidson. The card contains the legend, "A 1952 Wilkes-Barre landmark, the diner was reborn in Mt. Airy and named for the trolleys that glided up Germantown Avenue. Davidson Neon erected the 42' long neon on stainless sign in 2000, the first animated spectacular built in Philadelphia in 40 years. As the traffic light turns red, wheels stop and doors open, revealing driver and passenger inside the 1947 PTC Trolley."Archive Details
