Black and white photograph of the old Truck No. 8 firehouse at 5233 Germantown Avenue, corner Bringhurst Street. Undated, but probably circa 1900. Bringhurst Street is towards the left of the view. The sidewalk and street in the foreground have been painted out to blend them into the rest of the scene, for publication in the Germantown Independent Gazette newspaper.
Verso, in pencil: "Photo by Berger for Gazette only" etc.
