Tuesdays at Ten: A Recalling of Old Hours For Pennsylvania Men - Concrete Illustrations, Tangents & Asides. Hard cover, 333 pages.
The author was a professor of English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania and would meet with his classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ten (AM). This book is a collection of many (but not all) of the lectures he delivered to his classes. One of the lectures is entitled "The Muses in Germantown" (page 89).
A handwritten note found Inside the Front Cover indicates this book was a gift to The Germantown Historical Society from Charles F. Jenkins in 1940.
