Photograph a [top]: Please see notes for captioning and other information. This photograph shows a view of Upsala, located at 6430 Germantown Avenue. The photograph shows a front view of Upsala, mostly obscured by trees. The main entrance (an arched pediment overhang supported by columns) is mostly visible. What is visible to the right is a porte-cochere and what appears to be a side porch. A dirveway is visible in the right of this photograph leading to the porte-cochere. Mnay mature trees and plantings are seen throughout the property, Also see catalog number 2013.5.1.145a for a more complete description of Upsala.
Photograph b [bottom]: This photograph is an almost identical photograph to that found in catalog number 2013.5.1.145a. This photograph was taken closer to the house and shows less of the circular driveway in front of the house. One feature that is now visible are two vine covered trellises rising to the bottom of the second story windows on either side of the front facade.Photograph Details
