Photograph b [top]: Please see notes for captioning and other information. This photograph shows a view of Upsala, located at 6430 Germantown Avenue. The photograph is nearly identical to catalogue number 2013.5.1.146a. The main difference is the season of the year as seen in both photographs. This photograph would seem to have been taken in the Fall or late Winter since more of the house is visible and there is less vegetation. Catalogue number 2013.5.1.146a seems to have been taken in Summer with vegetation in full bloom.
Photograph c [bottom]: This photograph is similar to catalog number 2013.5.1.146b. The principal differences are that this photograph was taken from the right-hand side of the house facing the front facade, as opposed to catalogue number 2013.5.1.146b which was taken from the left-hand side of the front facade. In both instances the photographs appear to have been taken at the same season of the year as most of the facade is visible and little vegetation appears. Also, this photograph (2013.5.1.147b) shows all of the first floor shutters in a closed position. The house might almost appear to be vacant.Photograph Details
