Photographs from Photo Scrapbook 1, Part 2, Page 89
Please see Notes for a description of captioning. This photograph shows a view of Germantown Academy, located at 100 West School House Lane. The photograph shows two stone two story buildings. The center building in the photograph is both a front and side view and the top is encased with an arched moulding pediment and two brick chimneys protrude above the roof line. A bell tower and steeple topped with a weather vane protrude also above the roof line. The building to the right (partially obscured by the first building) is similar in appearance but does have a dormer wondow built into the roof line. A metal fire escape at the second story level (on the side of the building) is also visible. A brick path with steps is seen leading from a paved driveway along the front of the center building. To the left, another building is partially visible past the first stone building.
