Photograph a [top]: Please see notes for captioning and other information. This photograph shows a view of the Harlan House, located at 5200 Germantown Avenue. The house is three stories, of stone and brick construction (front facade is brick covered) with two dormer windows built in to the roof line. A triagular overhang supported by two columns encases the main entrance. These columns rest upon a raised landing with three steps running parallel to Germantown Avenue seen in the foreground. The stone side of the house is visible as is a gate and fence separating the property from the sidewalk. A slight portion of a structure is seen in the right side of the photograph.
Photograph b [bottom]: This photograph shows a view of the Endt House (5222-5224 Germantown Avenue; the Bechtel House (5226 Germantown Avenue) and the Van Laschet House (5230-5232 Germantown Avenue). It is an exact replica of photograph 121b (see catalogue number 2013.5.1.121b). This photograph is a bit more clearly defined that photograph 121b.
