Washington Lane, Formerly Abington Lane. 88 photocopied pages written in longhand and placed in a protective cardboard protective binder. These pages are unbound. A label affixed to the outside of the protective cover identifies the Author and title of these pages. The Author lived from 1847 to 1919. Presumably, these pages may have been written toward the end of his life as reminiscenses of Washington Lane. The Author apparently llived on Mt. Airy Avenue and one could consider these handwritten pages as something of a "guided tour" of Washington Lane and the surrounding neighborhoods with occasional digressions to matters associated with Washington Lane.
