Gown, Wedding. Wedding ensemble, including two bodices, skirt, groom's vest, purse. Wedding ensemble was used at the marriage of Margaret Elizabeth Bennet to Jules C. Wellens (1840-1905). Circa 1870. CW 830 a Wedding gown bodice; cut velvet brocade; cream color with roses. Bodice was added to the collection in the 1890s. Transcribed from original accession record.
