Gown, Wedding. Wedding ensemble, including two bodices, skirt, groom's vest, purse. Wedding ensemble was used at the marriage of Margaret Elizabeth Bennet to Jules C. Wellens (1840-1905). Circa 1870. CW 830 b Wedding gown bodice; cream faille moire; low neck. This was the original bodice. used in the wedding. Bodice was made larger for a 20th anniversary celebration Transcribed from original accession record.
