Black and white 1941 view of a woman walking in front of the Germantown Trust Company at the southeast corner of Germantown Avenue and Chelten Avenue. A newspaper stand for the Philadelphia Bulletin is visible behind her. An ad for "Fame of the Spur" hangs on the newsstand; it advertises the release of a "Best Seller Novel." Above this, attached to the bank wall, is a sign reading "Travelers Checks Safeguard your Vacation Funds."
