Shawl. Woman's shawl; fine white cotton lawn; gathered lace edge on four sides; floral embroidery in two corners; one corner broadly rounded; scalloped lawn overlays lace at edges. Parallelogram-shaped shawl was designed to be folded over with one corner showing above the other to produce a two-layer triangular shawl. Dimensions: 54-inches wide center back of triangular shawl; 46-inch sides; 3 1/2-inch lace band; ten-inch corner embroidered design. Fair condition - staining. No date given.
