Description

Dress. Woman's black dress; dull satin; waist has yoke of tucked silk and ruffles; applied design; boned jacket; belt of black velvet. Sleeves puffed at top with fitting at wrist. Skirt trimmed with ribbon quilling above flares; small train. Dress lacks its collar - a black lace high collar indicated. Label in dress: "Mrs. R. Ott, 850 North Fifth Street, Phila." Worn by the donors' mother, Anna W. Bultman (Mrs. John P. Sanders) of Philadelphia. No condition given. Circa 1895. Transcribed from original accession record.
