Dress. Woman's Quaker dress ensemble. CW 749 a. Quaker dress; fine cotton; striped; shaded grays and browns with pink, brown and white; long skirt; high waist; corded at neck and sleeves. Lining under sleeves; piping at bodice seams; single piece bias-cut sleeves; sleeves gathered at shoulder. Good condition; slight orange spot staining. Circa 1825. CW 749 b Capelet matching Quaker Dress (CW 749 a). Fine cotton; ruffle. Capelet is tacked at front to hold in place. Good condition; slight orange spot staining.
