Shawl. Woman's black Chantilly lace shawl; rectangular; small scalloped edge on one side; medium scalloped edge on two long sides; large scalloped edge opposite narrow scalloped edge; floral design on one side; abstract band on three edges. May be a Mantilla. Dimensions: 52-inches long including borders and scallops; 45-inches wide; Border is 2 1/2-inches on sides; border is 4 3/4-inches on one long side. Fair condition - several holes and breaks. Circa 1870. Transcribed from original accession record.
