Description

Shawl. Woman's shawl; triangular; ecru; very fine silk lace; loosely crocheted; scalloped edges all around. Center triangle appears to have been the corner of a square shawl folded over and crocheted in place to form a triangle. Dimensions: 107-inches across top; 84-inches sides; 47-inches from top to bottom peak center back. Good condition - a few small holes. Circa 1830. Transcribed from original accession record.
