A. Small, paper covered brown leatherette notebook containing names and accounts of individuals in business with “Jos. Delafield;” entries written in ink; pages are numbered, roughly forty in all. The notebook itself is extremely fragile around the edges and cannot be opened easily from the edges. The edges of the cover and the pages disintegrate with contact. The interior, however, is tight and legible. The notebook can be opened, however, carefully from the center out with a bone folder pages and cover are sewn together at spine.
