Condition

Notes

Remarks: Details of condition noted for Winter Antiques Show: old wear on fronts of front feet; chips on bottom on front reel and baluster turnings of front stetcher; dot-sized loss of finish on arm near junction of front stile; wear on back of crest rail left side. Scott Merritt recommended re-shellacking the rush seat, since it is unwinding and has potential to soak up moisture, but this was not done, nor was the cloudy area on the splat removed.

Notes

Remarks: Details of condition: Large worm hole, right stile; left stile split, repaired with screw.
