Bandbox with cover: oval; medium blue ground, decorated in white, with touches of dark brick red, dark green, and tan; classical scene of Roman-style chariot pulled by griffins, bearing female figure in flowing drapery, with fallen amphora on ground, trees, narrow bottom border of fretwork and leaves; top with same design; edge of cover bordered with red and pink flowers, green leaves on figured grey ground.
