Porcelain basket with underglaze blue and overglaze gilt decoration: scalloped edge; molded two-part handles resemble bound reeds, white with gilt accents; bow at top of handle; transfer-printed design of blue dots and leavers; gilt pin wheel-shaped devices and line at bottom; mark transfer printed in green on reverse of bottom: "SPODE/('C' in square with fretwork background)/COPELAND".
