Beater with large cogged wheel: with inner frame of heart-shaped forms, with handle of steel which has maple knob; smaller gear turns shaft, to which is attached wires, in pear-shaped cluster; clamp for securing to table; about rim of main wheel: "MONROE M'F'G. CO., FITCHBURG, MASS., PATENTED APRIL 19, 1859, & OCT.16, 1860."
