Description

Miniature mahogany sleigh bed; headboard and footboard of same height; each consisting of a curved board framed on 4 sides; within two stiles rounded at the top and curving down to rectangular feet; the top framing member is a rounded length of wood while the bottom member is a 2 3/4" tall board. The top side of the side rails shaped in a gradual "U"; and extra length of board, the size of a drawer runner, glued to the bottom of each of the side rails. Nail holes along the inner surface of all 4 sides of the bed indicate that some sort of mattress had either been nailed in or supported by nails.
