Gold-colored round metal lapel pin (gold?) with hand-etched flower and scroll motif with applied decorative bar on surface and applied pin clasp and pendant ring on back. Concentric designs of scroll, shell, foliate, and floral hand-etched around a central applied bar with an etched "ribbon" crisscrossed around center of bar. On underside of pin is applied (soldered) the pin mechanism, which is a hinged stick pin with a "C" shaped clasp. The pendant ring is also soldered gold.
Itemized in MP.93.355 as "85 gold brooch of/ Emily M. Wetmore/ daughter of Gen. Prosper Wetmore."
