Description

Bronze oblong shape frame, holds seven printed cardboard placards- three large ones(F,G,H) indicating the months of the year, four smaller ones(B,C,D,E,) indicating the days of the month. The frame appears by sight to be copper with a veridgris finish. The surface motif is Celtic coiling and Celtic "Triquetra" pattern. The coiling is in the two upper corners, the "triquetra" is interwoven around the two Zodiac signs that fill the entire face of the frame. The back is metal and screwed in with eight screws. Attached to this is a metal pouch which holds the placards, so as to change the calendar when needed. The backside also has a metal stand attached. The placards, from sight, have a green matte finish with Art Nouveau printing/ pertetual time.
