Square backed chair, painted black mahogany veneer, maple underneath with inlaid brass trim, upholstered seat in blue velvet: three splats, diamond motif at center of each splat; seat rails curved at sides; six brass tacks at each corner; brass inlaid at edges of frame, splats, legs; legs are squared and tapered; back legs are splayed.
