Chair, side: Fan-back Windsor; cresting rail, with shaped upper edge, strongly curved, terminating in uncarved "ears;" 7 whittled round spindles; exterior spindles turned in elongated vase shapes; spindles set into lower edge cresting rail, and into seat; solid saddle shaped seat, into which are set the four splayed vase-turned legs; H-stretchers, of maximum diameter at center of each; rather narrow high proportions.
