Description

Gilded metal change purse with gold chain link mesh pocket and decorative gold beads: clasp of purse is a double bead snap clasp; mouth of purse is adorned with dragons on either side of clasp, surrounding monogram on back of clasp part, the reverse side of monogram, is attached (applied) a ring to which a chain may have been attached once; the same dragons appear on back side; gold chain mesh constricts the pocket part of the purse; at end of pocket are applied seven gold beads at regular intervals; monogram: under clasp, "MBST" in the following formation - M,B over T,S.
