Curatorial Remarks

Note

On June of 2019, Jessa received an email from Allen Miller stating that the smaller figural compotes and the yellow set of Vieux Paris porcelain are similar to a set purchased by George and Ann Clarke from Baldwin Gardiner of New York for Hyde Hall in 1833. Mr. Miller refered to the compotes as corbeilles. See note in Object File [Jessa Krick, Director of Collections, 6/5/2019].
