Description

A: This is a clear glass stopper for the decanter. It is open at the bottom and is like a flattened disk at the top. B: The glass flask is of clear glass that has been dipped in white glass and then they cut into the white glass so that the clear glass can be seen. The top has a gold painted rim; then there are white arches and gold arches and gold bands that encircle the neck; ovals are below. There is gold rococo foliage; then at a lip are incised ovals into the glass. There is a banding of violet and yellow pansies and foliage; below this are incised inverted water drops and below is an ogee arched window-like incision that encircles the decanter. This is adorned with gold paint that follows the shape; in between each one is a gold rococo filigree. The bottom of the base is also clear. C: The center of the disk has an incised star where the clear glass is uncovered, then a golden circle, then a set of window-like ogee arched incisions that encircle the plate. Various flowers are in between each "window", poppies, morning glories, etc.
