Description

Porcelain plate, circular and shallow form with wide rim: applied border of buff-colored glaze; outer edge of rim gilded also two gilt bands which delineate inner edge of buff-colored border; hand painted floral spray surrounded by green leafage decorates center of plate; characteristic French foot on plates; occasional decorators' marks at bottom.

S-U: Good condition; minor chips on outer edge of flared rim or underside of rim. V-X: Poor condition; varying size chip on outer rim edge. V: Chip on outer edge of rim with approx. 2" crack on surface and underside of plate through buff glaze border. W-X: Large, deep chip on flared edge of rim of plate extending into buff glaze border.
