Know all Men by these Presents that I John Livingston / of the City of Montreal Merchant, for divers good Caufes and / Considerations [me/are?] thereunto moving; Have deputed & / authorized, constituted and appointed, & by these presents / Do depute, authorize, constitute and appoint Philip Schuyler / of the City of Albany Esqr: my true and lawful Attorney for me and / in my Name to treat with any person or persons whatsoever / for the Leasing, selling or otherwise disposing my of my / Right in two certain Tracts of Land in the County of Albany / known and distinguished by the Name of Westenhook and / Wallumscot (as by the Deeds or Office Copies thereof Reference / being thereunto had may more fully appear) And after any / Treaty and Agreement made and concluded as aforesaid, / for and in my Name to sign, seal and deliver any Asfsignment / Conveyance or Afsurance to any person or persons that shall / purchase or agree to purchase the same Premifses, or any / part of them, as he the said Philip Schuyler in his Discretion / shall think fit, for the Sufficient afsigning, conveying and / afsuring of the said Premifses, which shall be so purchased / and sold as aforesaid to the person or persons which shall / contract for and buy the same, or any part of them / for the Execution of every fuch Treaty and Agreement as aforesaid / And also I do impower and authorize my said Attorney to make / Partition of my fifth part of the Farm at Dovegat with~ / Mefsrs Swart and Van Vecten, as also to receive whatever Rents / or Arrearages of Rents now are or hereafter may be due and / owing to me by any Tenant or Tenants living on my / Lands or any part thereof in the Patent of Saraghtoga /
