The bearer Mr. Stephen [Haff] / has applied for permisfsion to sell his Lease to / which we shall have no objection provided it / be agreable to you _ The back rent due May / Last is £52-10; The condition on which the permission is granted, is the customary consideration / to the Landlord ___
It was the intention of this family that / the son of Stephen [Haunton] shou’d have occupied / the farm during the absence of the Lefsee; but Mr / Drake had previously let it to Mr. Crawford and / as he informed us by the consent of Mrs Haff.
