I am very much / obliged for check. It was / on account “sketches” at [Irving?] / top. – My full charges will / be 5% upon the amount / expended and the only / extra amount will be the necessary / car fare. And the amount / due me on the measurements, / etc. on old House. + for lay- / ing out the same: This / is always charged in excess / of the 5%-- I charge for / self and assistants.
