I have suffered a longer time than usual / to pass my dear Parents without writing you for it . / has been so long that I have not received one line / from the Eastward that I felt myself almost forgotten / yesterday I got your letter dear mama of the 7th M=ch / which informed me all was well. I am glad Mary Bliss / has got so cleverly give my love to her _ We are all / wekk here Too & the little babe grows finely. _ We / intend coming to see you about June & in a waggon / though not an open one _ it has been built on purpose / to travel with & is lighter ten times than the couchee _ / I think you will be pleased with it _ I wonder they / are not used in that part of the Country. I have often / thought Mr. E Sawyer would find one of them a great / convenience either with or without a top they are most / common here without ____ I rode down & drank tea / with Mrs. Tillotson the other afternoon she was all the / time wishing you could see the little Will’m . she said she / knew all about it by experience _ every body thinks him / the very image of Papa & Mr Schuyler says he never / saw so great a likeness between an infant & a grown person. / If he is only as good when he is a man! We have no other wish. /

In this case I shall probably go into Switzerland the / ensuing summer & to Italy the Winter following these / plans however so distant are of course in a degree / uncertain” ___ I write thus particularly thinking it / possible ours may be the only letter _ I long to / have him yet home am nevertheless glad that he / should gratify his curiosity to the extent ___ / Mr. S_ & children desire their remembrances of / respect & affection With much love your child _
