Dear Lady,/
I hear it is exceedingly/ cold this morning, & as I stand in no/ fear of the mishap, but in assured/ dial at getting sick, hardly know/ whether I should venture. I really/ should like to go to church now in/ Richmond, & if upon farther/ inquiry, I get more favorable/ report, I will go by your house/ which is less out of the way/ for me than it would be to you to come here when in/ uncertainty– I suppose you will/ not [leave] have [unrecovered] than a quarter/ before eleven.

Vick Just tells me it is trying/ to snow a little.
