Tongs with brass finial hinged to c-curve "shoulders" peened to steel shafts, slightly curving inward at the bottom and ending with disk-like grips: finial turnings consist of (from top to bottom) round knob, reel, ring, cup-like element, reel, ring, baluster, reel half-dome; hinge masked by brass button-like element; small pair of finials consist of ring, reel, ring, baluster, reel flattened ball.
