An engraving of Francis Lewis, seated portrait of him on a round backed chair. He sits with his arm rested on his lap and jacket unbuttoned at the top with a contrasting color. He wears a white neckerchief around his neck. This engraving is window matted with a glass plate on top of it. The gold frame has rococo floral enrichments at the corners and at the center top and bottom. On reverse, two eyelet screws hold a cabled wire and the paper backing is slightly ripped.
