Description

White, octagonal and reticulated handled fruit basket and white, octagonal platter with reticulated edge: flaring "basket" on foot with rectangular handles extending above either end; handles molded with "rush" wrapping; motif running around mid-section of basket in the form of two rectangles and a "bowtie"; mark of a dagger with X at tip in blue; platter also has molded decoration at edge in the form of wrapping; the bottom of platter has the following marks: "S: molded in relief in center, "24" stamped into bottom on one side; same mark as on basket.
