Description

A shellacked wooden (pine?) turned desk globe with three ball feet arranged in a triangular pattern. A raised horizontal cylindrical band that moves across the surface like an equator and three holes arranged in a row on the top (possibly used to hold flags). Above the equator evenly spaced around the globe are three prints depicting monuments from the Stirling Palace and cemetery. Each print has an inscription of what the particular monument is. The globe is of two halves each indiviually turned and pieced together--hollow inside.
