Description

A plain weave wicker trapezoidal shape hamper with lid; the lid is slightly arched with a small rectangular square cut in the front; this hole appears to have been how it was closed and opened; also the back indicates by small holes to have been hinged at one time and now is not. The body piece of hamper, starting at top, is a rim of typical folded wicker weaving. Each side of body has twisted twine handle, woven into the body. The body has four corner stick supports that are affixed to the flat wooden base which appears to be pine wood. There are also approximately four nails driven in at approx. 3 1/2". The entire surface inside and out is painted grey color. There is a brown paper bag in bottom.
