Note

In the process of examining files in 2010, Kate Johnson found a letter dated January 10, 1991 from Joseph Butler thanking Mrs. Nancy Kennedy for her donation of a handkerchief and handerkerchief box. The letter indicates that the box would be on display at Sunnyside in one of the bedrooms. A handkerchief box from Mrs. Kennedy appears on the list of Curatorial gifts in 1991, but there is no object matching this description with a 1991 accession number. It is possible that Mrs. Kennedy was the donor of this object. This object was previously in TMS with "Donor: Unknown" [Jessa J. Krick, 7/23/2010]
