FOR/ HOLD THREAD FAST NEEDLES/ BETWEENS/ NO. 10"; image of woman on swing suspended from threads coming from needles; printed above image: "HELD BY THE EYES"; printed in border: "S&S" repeating; on reverse, printed: "NO UNTHREADING EVERY INCH USED"; "S AND S TRADEMARK"; "MANUFACTURED IN ENGLAND/ BY/ WILLIAM ALLWOOD & SONS/ LIMITED/ Registered Trade Mark/ MINERVA WORKS/ EST. 1796; ALCESTER"; tiny image of woman in classical dress with staff and shield, entitled "MINERVA"; rounded fold-over tab can be inserted in slit to close; printed inside tab on label: "Thread as other Needles./Then pull thread to end of the Eye./ To unthread pull thread/ towards the point." b. Folded and gathered black paper slip inside, with ten fine needles arranged piercing paper.
