Description
Printed and typewritten indenture between John Ross Delafield, Violetta White Delafield and the Society of the Church of St. John the Evangelist, August 25th, 1936; thin double red margin lines on left side of page; "Title Papers / File / Mont (sic) Place / Deeds (underscored)" written in pencil across upper right corner; text discusses boundaries beginning with "ALL that tract or parcel of land situate at Barrytown Corners so / called in the Town of Red Hook, County of Dutchess, aforesaid bounded / and described as follows, viz:-...;" text covers first page and half of the reverse; signatures of "John Ross Delafield" and "Violetta W. Delafield" appear in upper center right of second page with witness's signature, "Marion I. Henry" at upper center left and bottom right; blue stamp of "NOTARY PUBLIC" appears in bottom right corner, below signature; reverse has two blank rectangular spaces at top with "QUIT CLAIM DEED" and details (names, addresses) below; bottom of page has four uncompleted printed witness statements.
