Black and white photographic portrait of John W. Delafield and Richard M. Delafield. The photo is sepia in color and printed on a porous paper with a matte finish. John is looking over his younger (newly born) brother Richard, who lies on his back in bed. The frame is made of wood painted to appear silver. Its surface is basically plain, except for an inner beaded border. The backing is made of brown fibered paper and the frame was hung by a metal cord fastened to eyescrews.
