I do not believe either that it is the / Intention of Mr Jackson to give you any trouble on / the [END OF PAGE 1] The subject but merely to put the debt in the form / of a judgement, that it may avail hereafter in / Case you should become pofsefsed of the means of / payment. [Lord] scouted the Idea of molesting you / and spoke with great warmth when I intimated / an apprehension of it. No Judgement has been / recovered yet, and probably will not be in some time / to come I have nothing interesting to say / to you _ Our last accounts from Mr Duer are only / to the 30 Dec’r _ I presume he is on the Continent. / He communicates nothing by matters of Businefs. / Not one single Line has he written to me since his / departure excepting one short note telling how much / he has to say + how happy he would be to say it / + promising by the next Packet to send a volume. / I sent him my last _ the last I mean to write / to him _ a few days ago in which I say that / I am tired of firing blank cartridges acorfs the / Atlantic without being able to provoke a shot in / return _ We are all Well _ remember / me affectionately to Anna + believe me my / dear Pierre Your friend B Robinson [END OF PAGE 2] [ADDRESS] The Rev’d Pierre P Irving Geneva N.Y.
