A rectangular shaped letter rack separated into four horizontal compartments whose profile and dividers ascend in height from front to back. The front and back panels have an undulating contour while the inner two panels are curveless. The surfaces are completely covered (front and back) in a canvas-like fabric with a mustard colored diamond motif arranged in oblique parallel bands. There seems to have also been a flower decoration printed on the fabric as one can see red petalled flowers with green leaves and stems. The edges are bordered with a running band composed of a stylized leaf and berry motif between two horizontal bands of chevron motifs, made from metallic fiber. The base flares out a bit at the bottom and its underside is lined with paper.
