It is no trouble my dear Emma to me to get / your books but it is a great deal of trouble to be / without you at school I feel quite at a loss without / you. Do my dear Em get well as quickly as / possible I know it is very delightful to be away / from school (at least so I think) though it is not / particularly delightful to be sick. I have been an / astonishing good girl this week not a middling / recitation quite wonderful [unrecovered?] But suppose / I should stop this foolish note so Good Bye Dearest /
And believe your most respected honored
Beloved adorable Friend Nell
