Condition

Notes

Remarks: During Winter Cleaning 2012, it was noted that the top shield of the frame for this object (the frame remains in the study at Sunnyside) is very loose and fragile; overall the frame is in somwhat fragile condition and may be a candidate for future conservation or stabilization.

Notes

Remarks: Engraving was conserved in the spring of 2009 by Fine Art Conservation Group (529 West 20th Street, New York). The work was stabilized and placed in a supportive mount to protect it from further damage. The work was then rehoused at Union Church [8/4/2009]

Notes

Remarks: Torn in three large sections; small losses saved from tears at lower left corner; lower right corner severely dog eared; brittle.
