Curatorial Remarks

Note

Miscellaneous: Many glass houses made patent medicine, and other commercial bottles, ordered by merchants, druggists, etc. A few manufacturers of such medicines, etc., had their own molds. Others ordered plain bottles, affixing their printed paper labels later. Most early bottles made from window glass.
